Hi,

I'm a single mom with a 17 month old son having trouble making ends meet. I'm looking for a 1br apt in Staten Island-Annadale, Eltingville, Huguenot, Bulls Head, Travis, by the mall or CSI. I can't pay more than $900 including all. i'm also looking for financial help with rent and food as i was denied by food stamps. Any suggestions on assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and God Bless

Hi,

My name is Ronnie.I am a Mom of 3 grown children who are all out on their own.I am disabled and unable to work outside the home, which leaves me a very limited income.

I don't worry about myself though. As with any Mom,I worry when my children need financial help and I cannot provide it.That hurts me more then anything. My son lost a job he loved just a few months after becoming engaged. One of my daughters-Her husband of 7 months decided he didn't want to be married anymore. She was so upset, she just wanted to get it all over with, signed papers, and gave up rights to anything.

I pray every day,and I try to always keep my thoughts positive.I give them love and encouragement every step of the way.I would like all of you to know that if you need a friend-A shoulder to lean on,someone to talk to-I am a very good listener.

If anyone know's of any grant sites or can help me to help my children in any way,I would appreciate it so very much.I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I wish you all the very best best of everything, and may all your dreams come true........*Ronnie*

I am a 36 year old , married, female , who is in need of paying back debts due to hardships in the past 3 years.  My  husband  had a good paying job but got layed off due to economical decline after 9/11.  He has been working on and off for the past 3 years.  During that time we had 2 children and I have been supporting my family on  a social workers salary.  I have been trying to make ends meet with my paycheck and childcare expenses.  We live paycheck to paycheck and owe aprox. 15K in debt due to loss of income, disability, and childcare issues.

disabled and don't know where to turn

My name is Joseph De Molfetto, I'm 40 years old. When I was 25 my future was robbed from me due to a severe accident working for private sanitation.

My truck turned over when I hit a pole on Hamilton Ave. in Brooklyn NY. The day was 1/9/91 and there was a storm. It was just six days after my 25th birthday. I was supposed to die or be a vegetable. Well I lived, but I will never be physically or mentally the same again. I'm living on workers compensation from the State Insurance Fund, I get my maximum benefit of $579.14 every two weeks. I have a wife and two kids. Were living with my father which is the only way we can survive. But we would like to be able to have a life of our own with our two daughters, ages 9 and 10 and a half.

I'm having my wife write this for me since my right hand is useless due to the left side of my brain being removed. I go to the hospital for joint diseases at NY university hospital, in Manhattan NY. I'V been a patient of Dr. Orrin Devinsky since I survived the accident,I'm sure many of you have heard of him http://www.neurologychannel.com/nyu/physicians.shtml he is a very well known neurologist. Anyway I'm appealing to any of you reading this, for help. Especially at Christmas time. If you would be so generous any amount from each of you would be better than what we have now. Living in this situation you have no idea how much a collection of a single dollar from a group would help us and put us in a much better position. Will you please help? Thanks Joseph and Lisa De Molfetto

If you have any questions about my accident or are in a similar situation please feel free to E-mail me at lisa3964@aol.com, or demolfetto@aol.com. I will be happy to answer any questions.

I can't afford a post office box so any donations please send to

Thanks again and hope to hear from you weather you can help or not.

Sincerely,

Joseph
